The Brazilian charles do brox made his return to the lightweight category official by accepting a fight against the American Will Brooks. The duel will take place at UFC 210, on April 8, in Buffalo, a city in the state of New York. Do Bronx began his Ultimate career fighting at 70 kg, but after a knockout defeat to Donald Cerrone, moved down a division. Among the featherweights, he won victories over Jonathan Brookins, Hatsu Hioki, Myles Jury and Jeremy Stephens, between others. But the difficulty in making weight and the submission losses to Anthony Pettis and Ricardo Lamas replaced the Brazilian in lightweight.

Will Brooks, in turn, had an average start to his career in the UFC. Former Bellator lightweight champion, the American debuted with a victory over Ross Pearson in July last year. Three months later, however, he was knocked out by Alex Cowboy, in a fight in which the Brazilian also failed to reach the weight limit of 70 kg. in the lightweight category.
UFC 210 will feature a rematch between the light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and the challenger Anthony Johnson. In May 2015, the two fought for the vacant belt in the category (Jon Jones had his title taken away by Ultimate after several controversies). On that occasion, DC beat “Rumble” by submission. The middleweight fight between the former champion Chris Weidman e Gegard Mousasi should serve as the second most important fight of the night.
