Even outside the main fight of UFC 208, the Brazilian Anderson Silva he was the fighter who received the highest amount of salary from the entire event. The former middleweight champion took home R$2,55 million, including a bonus for the victory over Derek Brunson and the amount paid for Reebok sponsorship. This is the biggest purse received by Anderson in his career, as the terms of his current contract were updated after his last official triumph, over Stephan bonnar.
