Cigano challenges Miocic for the heavyweight belt at UFC 211

Now it's official! junior gypsy will be the next challenger for the Ultimate heavyweight belt. The Brazilian faces the champion Stipe Miocic in the main fight of UFC 211, an event scheduled for May 13, in Dallas (USA).

The fight between Miocic and Cigano had already been speculated in recent weeks, but only in the early hours of this Wednesday (09), Ultimate made the dispute official.

As soon as the dispute was confirmed, Cigano used social media to show his excitement for the dispute. “I'm ready because when the big dogs face each other, everyone takes a big step back. We are talking about the two worst men on the planet. Let’s do it”, wrote the former champion.

The rematch

Cigano and Miocic have already faced each other in Ultimate. At UFC on FOX 13, held in December 2014, the Brazilian fought a true battle of punches with his rival and won by unanimous decision from the judges. The fight won the best of the night award at the event.
