“I want to continue feeling energetic and feel like I'm following the same discipline, I just won't have to lose as much weight by dehydrating myself. Most of my fights (in boxing) were between 63 and 67 kilos, and I've even fought at 70. Of course, in boxing it's a little different, there's not so much clinch, you don't have to worry about wrestling, there's no one falling on top of you. But at 65,7kg (the featherweight limit in MMA), I still feel comfortable”, declared Holm, in an interview with the ‘UFC’ website.

When talking about the next challenge, Holly revealed that she made some adjustments to her training, but highlighted that she does not intend to stage an 'exciting' fight for the fans.

“For this fight, we have a broader strategy. We have a few things we want to see how the fight plays out, and hopefully we'll be prepared to capitalize on wherever the fight goes. I know a lot of people expect a ‘Fight of the Night’, but for that, I need to take a lot of punches. I’d rather win ‘Performance of the Night’”, concluded the fighter.
