It wasn't easy, but Jessica Andrade won his third strawweight victory against Angela Hill, at UFC Houston last Saturday (4), and guaranteed that his next fight will be for the belt. Who defined the Brazilian as the champion's next opponent Joanna Jedrzejczyk it was the president of Ultimate himself, Dana White.

“This was one of the best fights in the strawweight division. The two were exchanging bombs. It was amazing. Knees, elbows, punches. Jessica is definitely the next challenger. If we analyze the way she fought against Hill and imagine her against Joanna, we are sure that this fight will be a great war. This is going to be a really fun fight”, commented Dana White after the event.

In addition to getting her passport stamped to fight for the belt, Jéssica also won the fight of the night bonus for her fight against the Invicta champion. After the fight, “Bate-Estaca” herself had already requested a duel against Jedrzejczyk, who is undefeated in her professional MMA career and has already defended her strawweight belt four times.

With the victory over Hill, the Brazilian reached 16 career victories, with five defeats. Since dropping almost 10kg from bantamweight to strawweight, Andrade remains undefeated, with three victories, over Jessica penne, Joanne calderwood and now, Angela Hill.
