UFC Fortaleza on March 11th wasn't even played, but Ultimate already has a date to return to Brazil. According to the North American website MMA Fighting, the promotion will organize UFC 212 on June 3, which will be sold on pay-per-view, in a city that has not yet been chosen. It is speculated that Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo will host this event and one of the Brazilian champions, José Aldo e Amanda nunes, can defend the title on this day.
Also according to MMA Fighting, the UFC will hold 41 shows in 2017, the same number of events organized in the last two years. There will be 13 numbered shows, with UFC 208 on March 11th opening this calendar and UFC 220 closing the year, on December 30th.
Brazil should host another show, in addition to UFC Fortaleza and UFC 212, probably in the second half of the year. In total, there will be 23 events in the United States, 5 in Europe/Middle East/Africa, 3 in Canada, Brazil and Asian countries, 2 in other countries in Latin America and Australia.
