Anderson Silva confirmed his desire to face Conor McGregor, but, apparently, the Irishman didn't give much importance to the former middleweight champion (under 84kg). When commenting on the Brazilian's challenge, the “Notório” adopted an ironic speech, saying that the “Spider” is just 'another' fighter who challenged him, and even cited Tyron woodley, current holder of the welterweight belt (under 77kg).

“Have you seen Anderson? What is Anderson talking about? What the f*** Anderson Silva is talking? He doesn't stop saying my name all the time. Look, I'll take on any of them. Make sure the numbers are right, the situation is right. I will face any of them at any time. We have the Floyd situation lined up, but there are a lot of them that are right there. We have the featherweight situation, the lightweight situation, the welterweight situation – that's a real situation too. I'm going to slap that idiot (Tyron woodley). I'm going to slap that idiot across the octagon and take that third belt, no problem. This is a real situation. Anderson, who else? I don't know who else. All of them”, he declared, in an interview given in front of thousands of fans, in London, England, and broadcast via pay per view on the internet.

Another target of McGregor was Nate diaz, his only tormentor in Ultimate. According to the featherweight champion, the American lost his respect by joining Floyd Mayweather in provoking him, and assured that the trilogy is not part of his plans in the recent future.

PUBLICITY:

“Nate is a s***. I had the utmost respect for Nate, and I still have respect for Nick (Diaz), he's doing his thing, but when (Nate) accepted that call from Floyd Mayweather, and he was like, “Hey Floyd fans,” he turned around. *** of Floyd that night. I thought, “You piece of shit, you absolute piece of shit. When Floyd said, “You made Conor crash,” and he said, “Yes, I did,” and Floyd said, “I'll finish the job,” he should have said, “Shut the f*** up, or I'll strangle you too”, and post it everywhere. Then, all of a sudden, it would be, “F*** Floyd.” It would be me and Nate again. But he became a f***ing Floyd that night. He became Floyd's employee that night. (…) Now, you’re at the end of the line,” he concluded.
