Dana White warns McGregor: “If you follow this path, you will have an epic fall”

Recent statements from Conor McGregor did not please Dana White. After the Irishman cursed the UFC and stating that he will fight his next fight under boxing rules, the president of Ultimate used irony to respond to the statements, but issued a warning, stating that the fighter could “break” his face if he maintained the adopted stance.

“When you do a pay per view and charge five dollars to hear you speak, I'm sure you're going to have to say some really crazy shit, right? You know what I think of Conor, I have always shown the greatest respect for Conor, and if he wants to follow this path with us, let me tell you, he will have an epic fall”, declared the president during a press conference after UFC Denver, in dawn from Saturday (28) to Sunday.

When asked about the possible duel between McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, Dana once again adopted an ironic stance, minimizing the chances of the duel happening.

“These are the chances that I think (the fight) has (of happening): more or less the same as me being (Tom) Brady’s backup quarterback on Sunday,” he said, citing the main player on the New York football team. England Patriots, and then completed by saying that the offer made to hold McGregor vs. Mayweather was, in fact, just to 'shut up' the former boxer.

“He (Mayweather) just talks shit. He said he made an offer, which wasn't true. That was a real offer,” concluded White.
