Number three in the ranking, the jiu-jitsu specialist finds himself in an uncomfortable situation, and could be 'passed behind' by Anderson Silva, your personal friend. However, the Brazilian made it clear that not even his friendship with the former champion would make him accept being passed over when it came to competing for the division title.

“I got on the card before him, but he was ready. We had already helped each other, it's always good to have a guy of the caliber of Anderson Silva to strengthen you in training. I believe I can help him with what he needs and he can help me with what I need. We are a very big force at X Gym,” he concluded.
