the reign of Michael Bisping in the middleweight division (up to 84kg) many fighters in the category have been displeased, especially one name: Ronaldo Jacare. The Brazilian, who has a fight scheduled against Tim Boestch at UFC 208, on February 11th, in Brooklyn (USA), did not hide his dissatisfaction when analyzing the situation of the current champion. According to him, having the Englishman at the top of the division is a 'disaster' for the sport.

“Bisping is ridiculous. Him winning the title was a disaster for MMA. He doesn't want to fight, he just runs away and thinks he's selling pay-per-view. UFC 204 was a sales disaster, so much so that they didn't even advertise it. He's a fugitive, horrible”, said the Brazilian, during the Media Day held with the press this Thursday (26), in Rio de Janeiro.

In addition to Bisping, Jacaré also took shots at another name from the middleweight elite, the former champion Luke Rockhold, who he should have faced in November 2016, but an injury to the AKA fighter prevented the duel from happening. For the Brazilian, the North American faked an injury to avoid facing him.

“I want to settle accounts with him (Rockhold). But that guy, handsome as hell, is a big yellow guy, he just wants to know how to model. Sure, he can make a lot of money modeling, but he's a big yellow guy. He said he was injured, but he is training normally,” he declared.

When asked about his next opponent, Jacaré minimized the fact that Boestch was at the bottom of the rankings and thanked Ultimate for the opportunity to return to the octagon. “Thank God the UFC gave me this opportunity to fight a really tough guy. Is he 13th in the rankings? Yes, he is. Is he back there? He is, but I'm respecting it, he can put anyone to sleep, I hope it's not me,” he concluded.
