It took almost two years, but the rematch between the light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier e Anthony Johnson It will finally come to fruition. Ultimate confirmed this Wednesday (25) that Cormier x Johnson 2 will be the main fight of UFC 210, scheduled for April 8, in Buffalo (USA).

Cormier won the light heavyweight title against Johnson in May 2015. At the time, the Americans faced each other for the title that was vacant following personal problems with Jon Jones. “DC” submitted Johnson in the third round and became the new division champion.
Since then, Cormier has only defended his belt once, when he beat Alexander Gustafson in the decision of the judges, and a fight against Anderson Silva, which he also beat on points, at UFC 200, in July 2016. Johnson, in turn, has won three fights by knockout since then, over Jimi Manuwa, Ryan bader and the most recent about Glover Teixeira, when he erased the Brazilian in just 13 seconds, last August.
This is the second fight announced for the card. The previous week, the clash between middleweights Chris Weidman e Gegard Mousasi had also been confirmed at the event.
