Tim Kennedy announced his retirement from MMA a week ago, but the now former fighter continues to make controversial statements about the world of MMA. Asked about one of the reasons that made him hang up his gloves, the American assured that he didn't go any further because he chose to continue fighting clean, without using anabolic steroids. To exemplify his speech, he cited two names well known to fans: Vitor belfort e Brock Lesnar.

“I would like to be recognized as the best fighter in the world. I would have liked to have won a title. I could never have done it differently, but doubts remain. I don't know how to explain it, but seeing 'Vitors Belforts' and 'Brocks Lesnars' and thinking about all the moments I bled... I didn't have the talent of a Anderson Silva or one Jon Jones. So the doubts remain. If I had cheated once, would I be world champion? Instead, I preferred to maintain my integrity and was top 10 for many years”, he declared, in an interview with the program 'MMA Hour' (USA).
