With just under three weeks left to return to the octagon, Anderson Silva continues sharpening its weapons to face Derek Brunson at UFC 208, February 11th, in Brooklyn (USA). Through his social networks, the former middleweight champion published a video of his training at the gym, where he appears doing light sparring work without much contact, with him walking sideways, while being pressured. In the end, he takes his training partner down.

Anderson, considered by many critics to be the greatest fighter in UFC history, hasn't won a fight since October 2012. After scoring 10 title defenses in the middleweight division and three superfights in the light heavyweight division, Spider is living in astral hell. He lost the title to Chris Weidman, in July 2013, and ended up breaking his leg in the rematch, in December of the same year. Upon his long-awaited return, in January 2015, Silva hit Nick Diaz, but the duel was reverted to a No Contest (fight without result), as both athletes were caught in the anti-doping test. Then, two more defeats, both in 2016. In February, he was defeated in a duel against Michael Bisping, In London. In the most recent duel, he was dominated by Daniel Cormier at UFC 200, last July, in Las Vegas (USA).
