UFC Fortaleza has another scheduled fight. The event, which takes place on March 11th, will feature an important duel for the future of the flyweight division: the Brazilian Jussier formiga, fourth in the category ranking, faces the dangerous Ray Borg, who is in tenth position. The information is from the Combate channel website.
Formiga was supposed to fight last week, but an injury took him out of the duel against Sergio Pettis, at UFC Phoenix, last Sunday (15). John Moraga replaced him and ended up being defeated by the brother of the former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis. The Brazilian is coming off a victory over Dustin Ortiz at UFCBrasília in September last year and has won four of his last five fights.
Borg, on the other hand, is coming off an impressive victory over Louis Smolka, at UFC 207, the last event of 2016. The North American has six fights in Ultimate, with four wins and two losses.
