“I would face him in a boxing match. Not in the UFC. Just boxing. I haven't seen the images of him sparring, but we're talking about McGregor boxing, which is a very different sport from MMA”, commented Pacquiao, eight times world boxing champion, on the TV program “Fox Sports News 500”.

At 38 years old, the Filipino was also known for his rivalry with Floyd Mayweather. The two faced each other in 2015, with “Money” winning the decision. Pacquiao believes that, in a boxing fight, his tormentor would also do well against McGregor.

“I don’t know if they’re taking this seriously. It's in the news, but I don't know if it will happen. If that happens, I don’t think McGregor will win,” he said.
