After considering that he would leave the UFC after the end of his contract, American Tim Sylvia backtracked and stated that he has no intention of fighting in M-1 Global. Sylvia complained that newcomer Block Lesnar had a bigger purse than him at UFC-81, two-time Ultimate champion.
“People are crazy when they say I want to leave the UFC. I don't want to, this is my home and I would love to stay here for the rest of my career. I didn't say I thought about going to M-1, they asked me about them and I just said that my manager is one of the bosses there, so don't take it out of context. Some people will end up getting me in trouble with the UFC,” said Sylvia.
