Dana commented that Floyd is wrong to place himself above McGregor as the biggest star in combat sports. For the president of Ultimate, the fight between the North American and the Irishman will happen because his opponent needs money to maintain his luxurious lifestyle.

“First of all, Floyd thinks he’s much bigger than Conor, but he’s not. I'm not going to pay him much more than I'll pay my fighter. We all know that $25 million is not a crumb, and Floyd knows it too. But he keeps dangling his expensive watch around. The clock is the problem! When you wear a $250 watch, trust me, you're going to need $25 million soon, friend. And what's more: the income tax will come running after you, and will catch you in the blink of an eye (laughs)”, commented Dana to the North American website “TMZ”.

Mayweather was not far behind and also provoked the UFC president. He had already said that the offer put on the table by Dana White was a “crumb”. But after the comments about his lifestyle, the former boxer increased his criticism of the manager, remembering when they were friends, before the UFC exploded in the United States.

“I don’t want to talk to Dana White. Remember, he is a boss, but a small boss. The real bosses were the Fertittas. When they decided to sell the UFC, Dana became just an employee. I like him, I have nothing against Dana White. I remember him hanging out with me and Jeff Mayweather and carrying my bags. I remember him carrying my bags. And remember, Dana, I supported you”, declared Floyd in a video published on his social networks.
