The Hawaiian B.J. Penn faces Yair Rodriguez in the main fight of UFC Phoenix this Sunday (15). The event marks his return to MMA, after another retirement that didn't last long. But now the former lightweight and welterweight champion returns to the Octagon as a featherweight, with an ambitious goal: to become the first fighter to be champion in three different divisions.

“My biggest goal now is to get this third world title. And then, let's see. If it takes too long, I'll suddenly leave. But if I can do it quickly, I might even go back to lightweight. I don't know. What I know is that I'm here to fight, I'm going to win on Sunday and I'll be back quickly, you'll see”, commented Penn, to the North American website “MMA Fighting”.

However, BJ doesn't have good memories of his only fight at featherweight. In July 2014, it was completely dominated by Frankie Edgar, and ended up knocked out in the third round. It was the third time that BJ lost to Edgar – the other two had been in duels valid for the lightweight title.
