Ronda falls in the UFC rankings after another defeat; Garbrandt makes his pound-for-pound debut

Rousey lost three positions after her second consecutive defeat, while the new bantamweight champion appears in 5th on the overall list

The star Ronda Rousey suffered another “blow” after being brutally knocked out by Amanda nunes, in just 48 seconds, in the main fight of UFC 207, held last Friday (30), in Las Vegas (USA). Rowdy, who appeared in first place in the women's bantamweight category, behind only the champion, dropped three positions and is now 4th, being overtaken by Holly holm, Julianna Pena e Valentina Shevchenko.

The biggest beneficiary of “the round” was Cody Gabrandt, who defeated Dominick Cruz at UFC 207 and became the new men's bantamweight champion. In addition to having surpassed five opponents in the rankings of his category, for obvious reasons, the young man of just 25 years old appeared for the first time in the weight-for-weight list, without division by category. He debuted in 5th, leaving behind names like Stipe Miocic, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Michael Bisping and even Amanda, who did not have her position changed and remains in 11th.

Still in bantamweight, Cruz dropped only one position, but lost five places in the general rankings – he is 8th. Another former champion who fell down the table was the welterweight John hendricks, surpassed by Neil Magny last Friday, which went from 6th to 11th place. Dong Hyun Kim, who overcame Tarec saffiedine on the same night, he gained two positions (he is in 7th), while the Belgian dropped one and is in 14th.

In the middleweight category, two changes involving Brazilians. Vitor belfort he lost one place and is in 9th and Thales Leite dropped one position and was overtaken by Tim Boetsch, appearing in 15th.
