Former Pride champion now faces Baruto in the semi-final, in two days

Croatian Mirko Cro Cop stamped his passport for the semi-final of the Rizin GP by knocking out King mo in the second round of the fight, valid as the main event of Rizin 5, this Thursday morning (29). The former PRIDE GP champion lost the first round, but came back from the break with more strength, shaking the North American with an upper, before ending the duel on the ground.

In the semifinals, Cro Cop faces Kaido Baruto, who beat Tsuyoshi Kohsaka by decision. In the other bracket, Amir Aliakbari takes Valentin Moldavsky. Both the semis and the grand final will be played next Saturday (31).

In addition to the GP finals, Rizin 6 will also feature the fight of Brazilians Gabi Garcia (faces Yumiko Hotta) and kron gracie (which takes former UFC veteran Tatsuya Kawajiri).
