Asked about one of Ronda's demands to fight on the UFC 207 card, such as, for example, not having official commitments with the press during the week of the fight, the “Leoe” was satisfied with the conditions imposed, as she would have more time to prepare for the fight.
“I found out (that we wouldn’t have official press engagements) on the same day as you guys from the press. But it's good for me. I don't really like giving interviews, I like focusing on the fight, getting into the octagon and doing my job. It's good for me that Ronda isn't doing anything, because I can rest and focus on my training, on losing weight. That's it, the UFC basically told me, “You have nothing to do this week.” If they decided, I would do open training and everything. I think they should have forced Ronda to do these things, but I don't know what happened. If I said I wouldn't do any of that, the UFC would certainly force me to do it (laughs). It's not that easy... But ok, they love the Ronda Rousey, What can I do? The only thing I can do is put an end to it and that’s what I’m going to do,” he declared.
UFC 207 will take place this Friday (30), in Las Vegas (USA), and will feature two title fights and four Brazilians in action. In addition to the duel between Ronda Rousey e Amanda nunes, bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz puts your title on the line against the undefeated cody garbrandt. Still among the roosters, John Lineker faces TJ Dillashaw, in a confrontation that should define the next challenger in the division.
