the former champion Ronda Rousey returns this Friday (30), against Amanda nunes at UFC 207, with many doubts about his physical form, but mainly regarding his state of mind. The American hid from the media and fans after losing to Holly holm at UFC 193 and Dan Hardy, UFC commentator and former fighter at the event, questions whether last year's setback still shakes “Rowdy”.

“The most interesting part of this is her mentality. Ronda has been away for a long time. The last time she stepped into the octagon was a very traumatic experience, and this has been remembered all the time. This situation raises a series of questions about how Ronda will be psychologically”, commented Hardy to the North American website “MMA Fighting”.

The Englishman became known, after retiring from MMA, for his tactical analysis, in addition to commenting on Ultimate events in Europe. He laid out how he expects the fight between Ronda and Amanda to play out.

“If Ronda comes fierce and starts punishing Amanda nunes right at the beginning, then everything should go her way again. She can overwhelm Nunes. But if she comes shy and allows Amanda to find her rhythm and connect punches every time she tries to take down, the Brazilian will be ready to defend. And it is at this moment that Ronda will get complicated. That’s the question, we don’t know how confident she will be,” she pondered.
