UFC lightweight promises to help Sage Northcutt in his next fight

Jiu-jitsu specialist, Michael Chiesa, number eight in the lightweight rankings, expressed interest in helping Sage with grappling

The submission defeat suffered by Sage Northcutt before Mickey gall at UFC Sacramento, held last Saturday (10), in the United States, caught the attention of another Ultimate fighter. Light weight Michael chiesa, 8th in the category's ranking, spoke out on social media and promised to help Sage prepare for his next fight, especially in the grappling part, the biggest deficiency in the “UFC's favorite” game.

“Your next fight, I will train your grappling. It only pays for my flight and expenses. DM me and keep your head up brother,” the fighter wrote on his Twitter account.

Winner of TUF 15, Chiesa has won three consecutive victories, the last two by rear naked choke, precisely the same blow suffered by Northcutt. In total, Maverick, as he is known, has a record of 14 wins and just two losses (7-2 in Ultimate), with ten wins by submission. He has already beaten names like Francisco Massaranduba, Jim Miller e Beneil Dariush.
