the former champion Ronda Rousey believes that she would have become a completely different person if she had won the main fight of UFC 193, at the end of 2015. At the time, the North American was surprised by Holly holm in one of the biggest recent upsets in MMA. More than a year after the setback, Rowdy says she was “saved” by the negative result.

“The defeat for Holly holm saved me. I was becoming the kind of person I hate. The kind of person who lives their life to impress others. Who puts on a mask for the world to admire, who makes a point of publicizing any act of charity for personal image gain”, commented Rousey, in an interview with the North American magazine ESPN.
