The Combate channel, which holds the rights to broadcast Ultimate in Brazil, did not show part of the main fight of UFC 206, between Max Holloway e Anthony Pettis. The Brazilian broadcaster was left with nothing to do because the signal generated by the UFC failed during the first two rounds, only returning halfway through the third stage.
When the clock marked approximately two minutes of the third round, the broadcast returned to normal, allowing viewers to watch the moment in which Max knocked out the former lightweight champion and won the interim featherweight belt. The signal had already failed during the preliminary card, in the fight between Rustam Khabilov and Jason Saggo.
Out of options and embarrassed, the presenters replayed the best moments from the other fights on the card, including a promotional video of the duel between Holloway and Pettis. The episode angered fans, who spoke out on social media.

Ugh, I'm still angry, I lost 3 and a half rounds. At least I saw Holloway winning. ❤❤❤ #ufc206nocombate

I thought I would watch the entire main fight. Which I waited for about 6 hours. #UFC206noCombate pic.twitter.com/m58OqCRRkC

What a faux pas for the channel to lose signal right at the time of the main fight 👎🏼 #ufc206nocombate
