Coming off nine straight wins, Max Holloway will, next Saturday (10), have his first main fight in a pay-per-view event, when he takes Anthony Pettis for the interim featherweight title. Even though the focus is on beating “Showtime” and seeking the linear José Aldo, the Hawaiian does not forget his last tormentor: Conor McGregor.

Holloway assured that he intends to fight the Irishman again, after facing him more than three years ago, and is willing to move up to heavyweight to make this rematch happen.

“First of all, I have to face Anthony Pettis. But, you know, a fight against Conor McGregor it could happen either way. At lightweight, at welterweight, I don't care. I said I would even fight him at heavyweight, if that's what he wants”, commented Holloway to the North American website MMA Fighting, adding that he would like to repeat the feat of McGregor, champion of two different categories simultaneously.

“I would love to do that (be champion of two weights at the same time). Everyone hates the guy, but wouldn't you do the same thing if you had the chance? I want to make history, fight for two titles, for three titles.”
