The rematch between Dominick Cruz e TJ Dillashaw It didn't get off the ground, but the rivalry between the two bantamweights continues to rage. Cruz, who will put his belt on the line against cody garbrandt at UFC 207, on December 30th, he spared no criticism of Dillashaw, whom he defeated in January of this year, and gave his opinion on why his rival was passed over by the organization when it came to choosing the next challenger in the category.

For Dominick, TJ was never a real champion, and the fact that he lost the division belt helped him to be more relevant, as the former champion changed his stance and became more relevant.
“If he lets his true self come out, I think he would be a lot more interesting. But Dillashaw refuses. You saw it in our first fight, in our first interview, he holds his emotion. Now, after I punched him and took away his interim title and made him see that he was never the champion, he started talking. Are you hearing more about TJ Dillashaw now from what he heard not only when he was the interim champion, but throughout his career. I helped Dillashaw, I made Dillashaw more relevant. I made Dillashaw have a voice and taught him how to come out of his own shell. He may hate me for everything, but this guy is talking more than ever”, teased the champion.
Dominick Cruz prepare to face cody garbrandt in the second most important duel of UFC 207, which will feature another title fight at stake: the star Ronda Rousey returns to the octagon after 13 months without fighting and faces the bantamweight champion Amanda nunes in the main fight of the night. In addition to the two title fights, four more Brazilians will be in action: Fabricio Werdum, John Lineker, Antonio Shoe Guy and Alex 'Cowboy'.
