Pedro Munhoz enters the bantamweight rankings after victory at UFC São Paulo

Munhoz debuts in the bantamweight rankings, while Minotouro loses a position among light heavyweights

The bantamweight Peter Munhoz has plenty of reasons to celebrate his victory against Justin Scoggins in the UFC Sao Paulo, held last Saturday (19). After being awarded one of the performance bonuses of the night, Pedro appeared for the first time in the category ranking, and is now 15th on the list. Scoggins, who was 11th in the flyweight division, was removed from the rankings.

Another Brazilian bantamweight that rose in position was Johnny Eduardo, who knocked out Manvel Gamburyan in the same event, and appears in 12th place. At the top of the category, the challenger cody garbrandt, even without fighting, exchanged places with Bryan caraway and is the 5th.

Among the light heavyweights, Rogério Minotouro, knocked out by Ryan bader in the main fight of UFC Sao Paulo, lost one position and is in 10th. Rashad evans, who has already announced that he will move down a category in his next fight, fell six places and is 14th.

In the middleweight category, Thales leites, defeated by Krzysztof Jotko, lost one place and appears in 12th place. Jotko, in turn, advanced four “houses” and is in 11th. Uriah Hall, knocked out by Gegard Mousasi at UFC Belfast, he dropped three positions in the table and is 13th.

The heavyweight division also underwent changes and gained two new names: Alexander Volkov (13), former Bellator champion, and Shamil Abdurakhimov (15th).
