The only fighter in UFC history to hold two belts simultaneously, Conor McGregor may soon open up new professional opportunities beyond MMA. The Irish fighter's manager, Audie Attar, was open to starting conversations with WWE, the main pro-wrestling organization on the planet.
McGregor was recently praised by WWE chief operating officer Triple H, who said the UFC champion is the “complete package.” Attar received the praise with open arms and was willing to listen to a proposal from the organization.
“It’s all about business. If WWE comes with an offer, we'll want to entertain. We're here. It's just the people there calling the people at McGregor – which is me. We can talk”, said the businessman, in an interview with the “Five Rounds” podcast.
McGregor won the UFC featherweight (up to 66 kg) belt in December last year, when he knocked out José Aldo in just 13 seconds. The lightweight title (70 kg) came this month, when he also defeated Eddie Alvarez.
