Ultimate made the confrontation between Donald Cerrone and Matt Brown for UFC 206, an event that will take place on December 10th, in Toronto, Canada. Cerrone was scheduled to face Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 205, which took place last Saturday (12), but was removed from the card the day before the show, after his opponent failed to make weight and withdrew from the fight.
Cerrone, 33 years old, is known for always staying very active and not turning down opponents. He already has 22 fights in the UFC alone, with 18 wins and four losses, in addition to collecting performance bonuses for the night, 12 in total. Of the last 14 times he stepped into the octagon, he won 12, being defeated only twice, both times by Rafael dos Anjos.
Brown has a professional record of 20 wins and 15 losses and has suffered four defeats in his last five fights. In his last Octagon appearance, he was knocked out by Jake ellenberger at UFC 201, in July this year. In Ultimate, there are 13 positive results and nine negative results.
UFC 206 will feature a rematch between Danielo Cormier and Anthony Johnson in the main fight of the night and Max Holloway x Anthony Pettis in the second most important attraction of the night. Names like Rashad evans, Tim Kennedy, Cub swanson, Doo Ho Choi and Nikita Krylov are also part of the card.
