Former UFC champion, Ronda Rousey is considered one of the greatest representatives of women in the world of sports. However, the fighter is far from unanimous. Former world boxing champion Christy Martin harshly criticized the athlete, who she considers to be a bad example for the female public.

Martin, who retired from the sport in 2012, said he doesn't appreciate the way Ronda expresses herself in her interviews. For her, the North American shows a “lack of intelligence” with her words.
"Ronda Rousey, for me, is the worst example of a female image we could have. Simply because she can't sit down and give an interview without swearing every sentence. We are here to set an example for women, young women, girls and people in general. Speak as if you are intelligent. When you need to use every word with a f*** this or f*** that, it shows a lack of intelligence and vocabulary”, he criticized, in an interview with the YouTube channel “Fight Hype”.
Known as “The Coal Miner's Daughter”, Martin fought in professional boxing between 1989 and 2012, with 49 wins, seven losses and three draws. Interestingly, one of her setbacks was to Holly holm, who dethroned Ronda in the UFC. In 2009, she won the title in the super welterweight division by the World Boxing Council.
Ronda, UFC champion between 2013 and 2015, will try to regain her title on December 30th. On this occasion, the North American will face the current champion of the category, Amanda nunes.
