Tony Ferguson achieved an important victory in the main fight of UFC Fight Night México, an event held on Saturday night (5). The North American beat the former champion Rafael dos Anjos to accumulate his ninth consecutive victory in the octagon, which brings him even closer to the long-awaited title shot.

Ferguson and Dos Anjos fought a real “back and forth” fight, with good moments on both sides. The Brazilian landed dangerous shots from close range, but Ferguson used and abused his long wingspan to mark his rival's face.
