Rockhold gets injured and cancels rematch with Jacaré at UFC Australia

The rematch between Ronaldo Jacare x Luke Rockhold it's canceled. The fight, which would have been the main attraction of UFC Fight Night Australia, on November 26, was postponed due to an injury suffered by the North American. The postponement of the fight with less than a month in advance frustrates Jacaré's plans, who hoped to beat Rockhold and challenge the champion Michael Bisping for the middleweight belt.

According to Jacaré's manager, Gilberto Faria, the Brazilian will only return to the octagon to face the champion, who defended his title against Dan Henderson on the 8th and there is no fight scheduled.

"The Michael Bisping is running from the Jacaré. He is very afraid of him, he prefers to face someone like him. Dominick Cruz, who I would put my money on, by the way” said Gilberto Faria, Jacaré’s manager, to the North American website MMA Fighting.

The Brazilian has a record of 23 wins, four losses and one fight without result. In his last performance he defeated his compatriot Vitor belfort at UFC 198, in May this year.
