Dan Henderson (center) comments on the fight against Fedor
The Strikeforce champion, Dan Henderson, will face one of the biggest challenges of his career next Saturday. After establishing himself in the middleweight (up to 84 kg) and light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) divisions, the North American will face off against the Russian Fedor Emelianenko, considered the greatest heavyweight in MMA history. A day before the duel, the North American spoke to exclusive to SUPER FIGHTS and talked about how he hopes to perform in the heavyweight division
“In this fight he will be a heavyweight and I will have to drink a lot of water to reach 206lbs (94 kg)”, joked Hendo. “The fight will be at his weight and I have no desire to return to the category after this challenge,” he added.
Henderson also made a point of highlighting that after the fight against Fedor he no longer wants to change categories and establish himself in the light heavyweight division, closing the possibility of a fight against Brazilian Ronaldo Jacaré for the middleweight titles at Strkeforce.

“I don't have any predictions for after this fight, as it's the last one on my contract, but I'll stay at light heavyweight.” he finished.
The fight between Dan Henderson e Fedor Emelianenko will be the main attraction of Strikeforce, which takes place this Saturday, in Illinois, in the United States.
