Vagner Rocha in action at UFN 25
The premiere of Vagner-Rocha in the UFC it didn't go the way the fighter expected. Summoned at the last minute to face the tough Donald Cerrone at UFC 131, the athlete from Rio, residing in the United States, ended up dominated by the North American and defeated by unanimous decision from the judges. Now, “Super Vagner”, as he is known, will have the opportunity to recover within the organization. The Brazilian faces, the former TUF 11 participant, cody mckenzie at UFN 25, an event that takes place on September 17th, in New Orleans.
With a professional record of six wins and two losses, Vagner needs the victory to stay in the UFC and not run the risk of being fired in the event of another setback. In turn, McKenzie also needs a triumph, as in his last performance he was surpassed by Yves Edwards at UFC Fight for the Troops 2, held in January, when he lost his 12-win unbeaten career.
