UFC Rio will be broadcast in cinemas

With tickets sold out in just 40 minutes, Brazilian fans who will not be attending UFC Rio at the HSBC Arena will have a new option to watch the event. The show will be shown live, in high definition, in UCI cinemas in six Brazilian cities. On August 27th, the big screen will broadcast the show that will feature the long-awaited fight of Anderson Silva before the Japanese Yushin Okami. This is the first time that MMA has hit theaters.

The 1.600 tickets to see the show in the UCI theaters go on sale this Friday, through Ingresso.com and at cinema box offices and will cost R$50 (full) and R$25 (half). Spectators will be able to watch the fights on the main card, starting at 20 pm.
