UFC Hall of Famer and current UFC heavyweight champion, Randy Couture, was publicly challenged by Ultimate's president, Dana White, at the UFC-81 press conference, which takes place tomorrow in Las Vegas. At this event, Tim Sylvia and Rodrigo Minotauro are competing for the interim heavyweight title and Dana questioned the winner's right to challenge Couture.
“Come on, Captain America, get in there, be a man and give these guys a chance to win the title,” White said.
“He’s the heavyweight champion. He signed a contract with us less than a year ago and I hope he honors his word. And I hope he’s a decent guy and gives these guys the same opportunities they gave him.”
