The much-speculated boxing match between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather seems further and further away from happening. And, according to the UFC champion, the reason for this is quite simple: the boxer is afraid to face him in the ring.

Both Mayweather and McGregor have publicly expressed their desire to have a boxing match. However, the duel never came close to getting off the ground. The Irishman then summoned the North American. “Floyd is scared to fight. Floyd doesn't want to fight. Floyd wants a boxing match, and I already said, 'No problem! Give me the f***ing money!’. When he gives me the money, then we can box under these specific rules that will keep him alive. So, I'm here. Where's my money? If you keep saying my name without having my money, I will show up at your door. Let's see, but Floyd doesn't want to fight me. So far, it’s just talk”, explained McGregor, in conversation with the “LAD Bible” website.
