With a fight scheduled for December, Ronda will not fight for a year and a month, as her most recent fight was in November 2015, when she was knocked out by Holly holm. According to White, the press' reaction displeased the North American, and, in her view, the fighter is partly right.

“She wanted time. She had some problems, but the biggest ones were, in my opinion, with the media. She felt like the press completely turned their backs on her when she lost. It's not that they abandoned her, but she felt attacked. She felt that these people, to whom she had dedicated three years of her life giving interviews, turned their backs on her when she lost. The press can irritate a person. If you go through something traumatic in your life, you lose and you still need to hear these types of things, I understand”, she commented, in an interview with the North American broadcaster “FOX Sports”.

Ronda Rousey will try to regain the belt on December 30th, in Las Vegas (USA). On this occasion, the North American will face the Brazilian Amanda nunes, current weight champion.
