Away from the octagon since UFC 117, held in August 2010, Chael Sonnen is close to returning to competitions. Free from doping suspension and problems with the justice of your country, the North American will face his compatriot Brian stann at UFC 136, an event scheduled to take place on October 8, in Houston, in the United States.
Known for his provocations, Sonnen was tipped to face Lyoto Machida, in the light heavyweight division, but this Thursday morning, the UFC made the duel against Stann official, who is coming off three good victories in the organization.
Although not yet confirmed, the winner of this duel should be the next challenger for the middleweight belt, which comes from the winner of the fight between the Brazilian Anderson Silva, current champion, and the Japanese Yushin Okami, who will face each other at UFC Rio, on August 27th.
