Chris Cyborg definitely seems to be willing to face Ronda Rousey. At least that's what the Brazilian suggests in her recent statements. After challenging the North American through her social networks, Cyborg stated that Ronda would need to undergo surgery after a possible duel between them.

“In my last fight, I broke the girl's nose in three places. For sure if I face Ronda she will need surgery on her face after our fight. And I’m not kidding – declared the Curitiba native”, said Cris, in an interview with the program “Speak for Yourself” (USA).

Cyborg also complained about Ronda not provoking her, which, for her, represents that the former UFC champion is avoiding the confrontation. To top it off, he mocked a video in which Rousey appears doing gauntlet training, calling her abilities into question.

“Ronda doesn’t say anything. She doesn't even say my name. She used Dana White and her mother to talk about me, because she knows that if she says my name she will have to face me. She knows. (…) I saw her shadow boxing and the shadow won. After the Mike Tyson lost a fight by knockout, he was never the same. Maybe this means that after Ronda lost that fight, she will never be the same. But not because she knocks people out. She never did that,” she concluded.

However, judging by recent statements by UFC president Dana White, Ronda's return should be against another Brazilian: Amanda nunes, current bantamweight champion. There is nothing official yet, but the expectation is that the fight will take place in early 2017.
