Brazilians Marlon Sandro and Júnior PQD had a very busy duel on Saturday night, Hollywood, in the United States. The fight was valid at Bellator 46 and was worth a place in the semifinals of the organization's featherweight GP. At the end of 15 minutes, Marlon managed to impose his standing game and good takedowns to win the split decision from the judges.
At the same event, the Argentine, based in Brazil, Nazareno Malegarie, submitted Jacob Devree with a guillotine choke in the third round and secured a place in the tournament's semifinals.
The show also featured another Brazilian action: acting on the preliminary card, Alexandre Popó submitted Sam Jones with a triangle in the first round and made his debut in the organization on the right foot. Check out the full results of the event below:
