Another prominent fighter showed dissatisfaction with the UFC's recent title fights. The Russian will fight in the same event, against Michael Johnson, but made demands. “After this fight I have to fight for the belt. Does the UFC think Conor has power? The Irish population is just 6 million people. I'm from Russia, which has 150 million. If the UFC doesn't give me the title fight, I'll show how I have power in Russia and then the UFC will never go there”, said Nurmagomedov, in an interview with the North American radio program “The Luke Thomas Show”.

Nurmagomedov's frustration was intensified by the fact that he received an invitation from the UFC to fight for the belt. “I'm a little upset because I already had two contracts to fight for the title, both at UFC 205 and 206. I signed both, and after that the UFC makes this shitty decision. I'm upset, but that's okay. Sometimes sh*t happens,” he lamented.
