Strikeforce GP: Werdum faces Overeem this Saturday

After more than four months of waiting, the Strikeforce heavyweight GP returns to thrill the public this Saturday (18). The show, which will be held in Dallas, in the United States, features as its main attraction the duel between the Brazilian Fabrício Werdum and the Dutch alistair overeem, where the winner guarantees a place in the semi-finals of the tournament. Willing to maintain his good form, the black belt from Rio Grande do Sul, who has won three consecutive victories, guarantees that he will submit his opponent.

PUBLICITY:

“I'm the best in the world on the ground and he's the best in the world on the feet. Overeem knows what I want. My plan is no secret: it's to take the fight to the ground and end it there. But I’m going to show him a surprise too… I’m going to break his face like last time”, says Werdum. In turn, Overeem guarantees that he will seek the knockout from the beginning of the fight.

PUBLICITY:

“I want to show the whole planet that I am number one and this GP has good names, all the fights are good. You have to beat the best to be the best... I'm going for the knockout from the first second”, said the Dutchman.
