The war of provocations outside the Octagon between Michael Bisping e Chris Weidman do not stop. After Bisping's recent statements calling his rival “soft”, Weidman responded to the current UFC middleweight champion. Ironic, the executioner of Anderson Silva stated that Michael hates him because he fought for the Ultimate belt before him.

“This (the criticism) sounds like Michael Bisping. He's been hating me since the beginning of my career. I arrived and through my results I became challenging and faced Anderson Silva for the title with a 9-0 record, while that guy (Bisping) had been in the UFC a lot longer than me, had a lot more fights than me and was nowhere near a title shot. He's been hating me since the beginning, so anything he says won't bother me at all. Congratulations to him, he won the belt, he can open his mouth and people actually care a little more about him these days, but I don't care,” said Weidman, in an interview with the North American website 'Fox Sports '.
Asked about Bisping's next fight, against Dan Henderson at UFC 204, on October 8, in Manchester (ING), Chris, who believes that the Englishman will not remain champion for long, confirmed his support for Henderson, despite highlighting that he would like to have the opportunity to beat Bisping in a possible title fight.
“Bisping has a great opponent, I think he can lose this fight. I still think he can be knocked out. He won't hold the belt for long. I'm a fan of Dan Henderson, I have to be honest with you. As much as it bothers me that he got this title shot, I'm rooting for him to be successful”, concluded the fighter.
