The Brazilian Ronaldo Jacare Today (05) he had confirmation from his opponent for his second Strikeforce belt defense. On September 10th, the middleweight champion will face the North American Luke Rockhold in the 36th edition of the event, a show that does not yet have a defined location.

Jacaré won the Strikeforce title last August, when he defeated the American Tim Kennedy by unanimous decision of the judges in the Strikeforce: Houston. In his most recent fight, the Brazilian athlete defended his belt for the first time by submitting the American Robbie Lawler with a rear naked choke Strikeforce: Diaz vs. cyborg, which took place on January 29th of this year.
