The city of Las Vegas, in the United States, hosts this Saturday the long-awaited final of the thirteenth edition of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF 13), the UFC's reality show. In the main attraction of the night, the finalists of the program Ramsey Nijem, pupil of Júnior Cigano, and Tony Ferguson, from the team led by Brock Lesnar, are competing for a five-fight contract with the organization.
The TUF 13 Finale fight program features just one Brazilian in action: Fábio Maldonado faces American Kyle Kingsbury in the UFC's light heavyweight division. After debuting with victory in the organization against James McSweeney, the athlete from the interior of São Paulo expects a tough fight, but believes in the triumph against KIngsbury
“I'm feeling good, I trained a lot in wrestling, boxing and jiu-jitsu. I’m ready for the fight”, said Fábio. The Brazilian light heavyweight also revealed that he wants a long fight, as the North American is known for his explosive style, and hopes to undermine his opponent's resistance with strikes to the belt.
“I want a fight with more than one round, because my opponent is strong and explosive. I'm going to hit him a lot in the body to win”, added the Brazilian, who is known for his boxing skills.
In addition to the final of the reality show and Maldonado's fight, the show also features another highly anticipated fight. The North Americans Anthony Pettis e Clay guida they put on a duel that could earn the winner the opportunity to fight for the UFC lightweight belt.
