The Brazilian film “Stronger than the world”, which tells the story of José Aldo, won five awards at the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival, in the United States. The winners were: Best Film, Best Actor (José Loreto), Supporting Actress (Claudia Ohana), Supporting Actor (Mihem Cortaz) and Best Soundtrack (BT, Samuel Ferrari, Felipe Junqueira and Milton Mine).

The film was recently nominated on a preliminary list to represent Brazil at the 2017 Oscars, competing in the category of best foreign film at the awards, but ended up not being selected. The film's script tells the story of Aldo's journey from the outskirts of Manaus to Rio de Janeiro, where he established himself as one of the biggest Brazilian names in the history of MMA.

Directed by Afonso Poyart with names such as José Loreto, Cléo Pires, Rafinha Bastos and Claudia Ohana in the cast, “Stronger than the world” premiered in the first half of 2016 and was considered a box office success, bringing around 600 thousand spectators to cinemas.
