Main star of UFC Fight Night 95, which takes place this Saturday (24), in Brasília, Chris Cyborg had a hard time reaching weight for the duel against Lina Lansberg. The Brazilian published a photo on her Instagram account in which she appears cutting the weight she needed to be able to participate in the fight without having to suffer a fine or any other type of punishment.

At the beginning of the week, Cyborg revealed that he would need to lose no less than 11 kg in four days to reach maximum weight for the fight. In the early hours of this Friday (23), the Brazilian slept in a type of greenhouse, which increases body temperature and causes the loss of liquids through sweat.

All the effort was worth it. At the event's official weigh-in, held on Friday morning, Cyborg weighed in at 63,9 kg, which, with the pound (0,45 kg) tolerance given to fights that don't put a belt at stake, leaves her within the limit. The official weight reading, plus the athletes' final looks, will take place from 19pm (Brasília time), with live broadcast of the SUPER FIGHTS.
