The Brazilian Amanda nunes was scheduled to return to Strikeforce next on June 18th against Julie Kedzie, but the Bahian fighter's return to the event had to be postponed. This is because Amanda suffered a foot injury during preparation for the duel and is out of action.
Amanda, who has a professional record of six wins and just one loss, made her Strikeforce debut on the right foot, when she knocked out julia budd in just 14 seconds of fighting. With the injury, the Brazilian still has no plans to return to action.
With Amanda's departure, the card for this edition of Strikeforce, which takes place in Dallas, in the United States, has only three Brazilians in action. Fabrício Werdum will make his debut in the heavyweight GP against the Dutchman alistair overeem, Gesias Cavalcante faces Justin Wilcox, and Magno Almeida will face Conor Heun.
